in their skivvies

the Kit, Chloe and Louise dolls I’ve been working on are finally finished! now it’s time for some outfits…

***updated to add***
I didn’t really have time to write anything yesterday so I thought I’d just do a little show and tell on the new dolls but Tim’s all “aren’t you even going to talk about them”. Guess he figures if he has to listen to me chatter on about these dolls all week that the rest of you should … More

folky girl

I just finished making the first of the dolls from my christmas break sketching session. I stenciled the pattern on the velvet skirt. I was so excited about this part. I found lots of great bonnet inspiration in one of my new favorite books, here.

the gnomes made me do it

Honestly! It was not my idea to go buy a gazillion really heavy bushes that need to be planted this weekend. Really, why would I sign myself up for this much work? Why would I sacrifice an entire weekend to dirt shoveling. This is not my style at all. Next thing you know we’ll be borrowing the neighbors rototiller to dig up and level the entire back yard. Damn gnomes!
