I always feel a little bit tacky blogging about gifts I’m sending out
but I can’t help it…the blog needs fodder. It must be fed! And I think (hope) the recipients
can dig that. This little scene is for this month’s birthday girl, angry chicken Amy. A couple of embroideries glued into little tin frames that I found at a garage sale. As soon as I saw them I knew I had to incorporate them into her present – scallops!

a pojagi artist
I discovered, through a comment left on one of my pojagi posts, the work of this wonderful pojagi artist – Jung Yul Park. Her work is so beautiful I had to share. The grey one is incredible and here’s a little sunny yellow to get you going this morning.

I’ve made another little (6" tall) embroidered doll for a baby gift. I’m working on matching booties and bonnets for each of the gifts and then I can switch over to another little baby that’s coming soon, my neice Maggie! My sister and I have picked out some beautiful fabric for her quilt. Now I just have to figure out what to do with it.
bunny, kitty and bear
do you want to make one of us?
I really hope so because work on patternbook volume number 1 is underway! Dolls are done, pattern pieces are scanned and now it’s time to get working on the diagrams and instructions and the fun stuff – design and layout. Right now we’re in the middle of a heated discussion on scalloped borders. Wish us luck!
fun mail monday
my mailbox was a happy place yesterday…

A Big Footed Trio
Three new big footed bunnies will be up for sale in the shop this afternoon (probably around 1:30pm central. I’ll be sending an email to the list when they’re available). All sold out, thank you!! They are all sporting spiffy new fully lined cross back jumpers that show off their cute bunny tails. (thanks Jen for the pointers!) Here are their glamour shots…
