I’m working on new baby and birthday (someone‘s turning one very soon) gifts. I think Miss Bunny here might work for someone on my list.
Hope everyone had a nice Mother’s Day. We had all our official hullabaloo on Saturday so on Sunday we were free to just putter. Heaven! Hallmark should start a Puttering Day. I’d be all over that! I’d take myself out for a nice Puttering Day brunch and then get to it.
vintage doll clothes
I took photos of a few more items from my mom’s doll clothes collection. Aren’t they so sweet. And they bring back so many memories. I was clicking around on flickr looking for a vintage doll clothes group and didn’t see one so I started one up. If you have any great vintage doll clothes hanging around, grab your camera! I love flickr. It so satisfies the collector in me. Here’s the group… Vintage Doll Clothes.
wee girl barrettes
Wee girls for the big girls. These barrettes are for some bigger girls on my list. Phoebe’s temporarily off barrettes until she gets that they’re not food.
they did it!

excitement!
First I was so excited to see Kim has a new blog, True Up, devoted entirely to fabric. Woo! But then how even crazily more excited am I about her current post about the new custom fabric printing outfit Spoonflower! My mind is racing. I wonder what the quality will be like. I wonder how soon it will be available! I’d love to try it out on the printed dolls. And I need to make some labels. And how cool would it be to make little prints for patchwork kits for doll quilts. I’ve actually got Tim working on some little drawings right now for something else that would be sooo cute as fabric. Arh! I’m going to stalk Spoonflower until they open their doors. hello… are you open yet… hello…
oh, and the shake it pattern. I always wanted to make myself a shake it pillow…
hello….
I’d say it’s about tulip time
Stubborn Chicago weather disagrees. My daffodils still haven’t even started blooming. Luckily here are some tulips to tide me over a few more weeks. The Tulip Fairy Stitchette is up in the shop now.
Tulips or not, I’m taking my embroidery to the park today. I think we may have finally hit crafting outdoors temps!
