My Book
A captivating gang of 24 huggable, lovable creatures to sew—from classics like Margot, a topsy-turvy doll, and the button-jointed teddy bear Bjorn Bjornson, to irresistible Evelyn, a wool felt inchworm decked out in mod glasses and a kerchief, and Koji, a fiercely cute spiked softie monster. There’s something for everyone here—from kids to grown-ups and from beginning sewers to advanced dollmakers. Published by STC Craft, August, 2010.
Lovely! I love his fur collar, and that his name is Finn.
Lovely! I really like his collar and his hair.
I love these wonderful winter stitchettes!
so good!!
yeah! i love this one…Izzy got me back on the stitchettes. I am all hooped up and stitching away at soccer practice and the carpool line! can’t wait for these!
Oh! How Sweet!
My little boy’s name is Finn, and I can’t wait to show him this tomorrow!

The cuteness of the fur on these winter ones is killing me.
how handsome he is!
Love him, too!
Is that a sweet little deer? Oh, my heart just melted a little bit.
So sweet – I love the deer and his wonderful fur collar!

too sweet.

oh… i cannot wait for the winter stichettes…
they’re terribly lovely and i’m looking forward to having another project to keep my fingers warm!
Ohhh… I have a little Finn too… he’s going to love that!
hi hillary–that deer is just the cutest!
i just think he needs a few stitches of smooth “fur”, like on the boy’s coat hood.
adorable as always!
xoxo
Ah, so The Yearling. Sweet deer and love the collar.
I’m so crazy for the name Finn. I think you should definately keep it on the backburner!! Love the adorable stichetter- as usual!
So beautiful!
I love your stitching gorgeous.
I’m learning to sew at the moment. My sewing machine is a godsend!
That one gave me warm fuzzies 🙂
love that he’s holding a baby deer.
How cute is that! I am so looking forward to the Winter Stitchettes!
Ack! Love that collar. The deer! I can’t wait.
Hillary, I don’t know how you do it. Cute is one thing, but I’ve never see so much personality and emotion in a “simple” little drawing. Finn is perfect. Reminds me of The Yearling
How cute! I love his adorable little animal.
i love finn! (a name on my baby list, by the way…)
That’s my favorite one so far.
Adorable.
I am fawning.
Oh I just love the collar, very nice detail!
very excited about this one indeed.
Oh, I love it! Sometime soon, I’m going to photograph a thrifted anorak I have, with fake fur around the hood, and embroidered scenes on the pockets and cuffs. Wearing it, I look like a Stitchette!
I love the winter Stitchettes so far. They are wonderful!
i love him. he’s perfect 🙂
looks great!!!
I also have a little boy named Finn (with “yellow hair”, as he says), so this guy is extra special!
I can’t even believe how amazing this is 🙂
