My Book
A captivating gang of 24 huggable, lovable creatures to sew—from classics like Margot, a topsy-turvy doll, and the button-jointed teddy bear Bjorn Bjornson, to irresistible Evelyn, a wool felt inchworm decked out in mod glasses and a kerchief, and Koji, a fiercely cute spiked softie monster. There’s something for everyone here—from kids to grown-ups and from beginning sewers to advanced dollmakers. Published by STC Craft, August, 2010.

I love love love the fabric!
Gorgeous fabric. Wish I had a little girl to make that for!
Ooh I love Nani Iro! I made a tunic top for Abby using that pattern too. It’s still too big though so maybe she’ll get two summers worth of it.
Aw, please stop with the cute peasant tops. The last one that I made my daughter no longer fits, I’ve been promising some new ones for ages, even got the material picked out… and I’ve been stuck doing boring sewing like hem alterations and buttons… Hmm, maybe I don’t need sleep tonight.
The fabric does look edible. Very cute.
So sweet 🙂
so beautiful! I love it 😉
Beautiful! It may be rainy outside, but you can’t tell by that picture – the shot feels warm and welcoming.
so cute!
Oh my! That is so, so sweet! What a cheerful top!
Hillary, in the book…are there any instructions in English?
My breath was taken away when I opened the page and saw that photo. Kit needs a top like that.

I have that fabric! I am going to make a little sister/big sister apron set for my girls. Found it in a trendy quilt shop in Wisconsin, they had lots of 30’s type fabrics! Love the idea for a top!
