My Book
A captivating gang of 24 huggable, lovable creatures to sew—from classics like Margot, a topsy-turvy doll, and the button-jointed teddy bear Bjorn Bjornson, to irresistible Evelyn, a wool felt inchworm decked out in mod glasses and a kerchief, and Koji, a fiercely cute spiked softie monster. There’s something for everyone here—from kids to grown-ups and from beginning sewers to advanced dollmakers. Published by STC Craft, August, 2010.
Loooove Andy Goldsworthy.
so cute. I remember when Simon would line up all of his animals like this…such a busy girl!
This is my favorite kind of play…100% pure imagination!
hahaha, this might be the best comparison of something a child has done to anything else i’ve ever seen…
We used to read “The Line Up Book” by Marisabina Russo for exactly this reason. Phoebe’s is very organic and definitely leads somewhere….
How interesting, I didn’t know this artist.
I love rivers and tides, I own it and haven’t thought to show it to my girl. Might make a good rainy day activity.
Priceless!
we love that book at our house too, it is beautiful, and my daughter is a liner-upper also 🙂
we watched this documentary with our young children (and they LOVED it). it encouraged my kids creativity alot. one of our favorites! (as well as _Between the Folds_ a documentary about origami)
