How can my business be so depressing and so cute at the same time? They seem to be cheering for me… "You can make it work Hillary!" I hope so!

My Book
A captivating gang of 24 huggable, lovable creatures to sew—from classics like Margot, a topsy-turvy doll, and the button-jointed teddy bear Bjorn Bjornson, to irresistible Evelyn, a wool felt inchworm decked out in mod glasses and a kerchief, and Koji, a fiercely cute spiked softie monster. There’s something for everyone here—from kids to grown-ups and from beginning sewers to advanced dollmakers. Published by STC Craft, August, 2010.
You can make it work! I have been following your blog for years, and love your style. I have made a half dozen softies from your book, and each member of my family has a stocking with a Christmas wishes embroidery on the front. Your style is unique and adorable, keep moving forward!
do you need a personal tim gunn? because i’d be happy to take on that role. you can totally do it, hillary!
I’m cheering you on too! I’m just not as cute as your other cheerleaders. I just did the splits with my pompoms. Not really, but I totally could….
I LOVE your work, Hillary. Stay strong, you can do it!
Depressing? I’m so sorry! Just remember that it’s the January-February time of the year when so many of us look around and say “what am I doing?” and “Why aren’t I doing more?” and “Why aren’t those goals met yet?” If you’re me, it’s also the “Why did you ever think you COULD do that?” time of the year. But it’s also a new year, so exciting and full of hope and snow days.
Anyway – what you do is enough! I love your designs. I’ve given dishtowels embroidered with your Christmas elves for years. And my friends’ children still love their Olives and Archies.
I love all your work too:)
You can’t say it’s depressing ,you have so much people that love the work you do here. They are also cheering for you.
Joining the chorus to tell you you’re awesome. Your designs are a bright spot for me when I need a pick me up. Hope you can find your business mojo and good things come your way soon.
So exciting, a new business venture? Looking forward to hearing more about it.
Been a fan for years. Keep going. You have something very unique.
I’m a huge huge fan! Don’t give up, you’re an inspiration!
Small steps, Hillary, Spring is almost here xo
Restlessness is uncomfortable but it can propel us forward in exciting (and stretching) ways. Your style is inspiring!
It’s the February ho-hums getting to you…You’re brilliant and creative and I can’t wait to see more of your work that brings beauty to my life from the things I make out of your creativity.
