It’s a new year, right? Hasn’t really kicked in over here yet. We still have too many holiday sweets around, the tree is still up and the only reason I got out of my pajamas yesterday was to go to the library to get a book to sit and read all day. (book was Where’d you go, Bernadette? and I really enjoyed it!) The kids have slowed into hibernation mode also which is wonderful. I’m sad, and a little panicked, that we only have 3 days left.
I’ve been doing a lot of knitting. I knit this hat twice and this hat, both highly recommended. Also knit this little bear from a Jess Hutchison pattern. I knit him on size 4 needles with sport weight yarn hoping he would turn out small enough to go on the tree. He’s tree size — maybe 6″? — but too cute to pack away with Christmas so he’s being added to the menagerie around here.
Very sweet! I’ve seen Shut The Box at the toy store, and been intrigued. Do you like it?
Hello! I love the bear – where did you find/buy the pattern, I was wondering what to knit next!!
I’ve had the pattern forever. I don’t think she sells them in her shop anymore.
Yeah, it’s fun! Phoebe loves it.
