cute cards

We had a flash back Friday yesterday. A few hours to kick around our old hometown, Oak Park, with just the boy. Such a fun afternoon (thanks Katie!) and we spent a lot of time playing what we miss/what we don't miss about living there. I'll tell you what I realized I miss a ton about living in Oak Park, being able to find a decent greeting card! I went nuts on a card display at the Magic Tree bookshop. And these were mostly just birthday cards. Good thing I didn't make it down the block to any of the other shops. I've decided though, I'm going to become one of those people who has a stash of great cards. They make me so happy!

  2. What cute cards!

  3. So many gorgeous ones you have there! I’m fond of Jillian Phillips as well, and Danish Maileg always have a card I like.
I know exactly what you mean.
Whenever I see a wonderful card, I can easily find an occasion to use it for, and then I have to bring it home.
And oh my, what a joy it is when I can pull one of them out of the pile, and write some kind words on it. (That is if I have the heart to give it away). 😉

  4. Oh my goodness, I just saw this post! I have been a huge Wee Wonderfuls fan for years, and was so delighted to be featured! What an honour 🙂

  5. I haven’t visited your blog in a while. Your dolls are so wonderful, and I love the new banner.
