Thanks again for the hex’s Jennifer! I found a plain top for them in Phoebe’s drawer. Now I’m hunting for more plain tops for more embellishing ideas I have floating around. Trying to ease myself into some Fall clothes sewing.

My Book
A captivating gang of 24 huggable, lovable creatures to sew—from classics like Margot, a topsy-turvy doll, and the button-jointed teddy bear Bjorn Bjornson, to irresistible Evelyn, a wool felt inchworm decked out in mod glasses and a kerchief, and Koji, a fiercely cute spiked softie monster. There’s something for everyone here—from kids to grown-ups and from beginning sewers to advanced dollmakers. Published by STC Craft, August, 2010.
So cute! Might have to give this a try myself. Never made Hex’s before…
I bet I could do that!
I am not sure if I could do that, but seeing the cute one you made makes me want to try. It would be so cute for fall with some cords.
Oh, this I love so much! What a fabulous idea 🙂 K
Looks good! Fall sewing already? I suppose it’s only a matter of weeks away. (after all, there’s 128 days til Christmas!)
I love embellished tops because they always come out looking so much better than the original (as yours has). It’s also a great way to cover up any weird stains! I really should do this more often.
oh, and I didn’t sew these hex’s myself. although I’ve been known to in the past…
