My Book
A captivating gang of 24 huggable, lovable creatures to sew—from classics like Margot, a topsy-turvy doll, and the button-jointed teddy bear Bjorn Bjornson, to irresistible Evelyn, a wool felt inchworm decked out in mod glasses and a kerchief, and Koji, a fiercely cute spiked softie monster. There’s something for everyone here—from kids to grown-ups and from beginning sewers to advanced dollmakers. Published by STC Craft, August, 2010.
omigosh…i can’t breathe. these look AWESOME!!!!!!! i am absolutely in LOVE with childrens books!!!
JACKPOT! What a haul you made. Love the photo of Phoebe! I remember these from my gradeschool years. Thanks for the wonderful memories these pictures triggered.
I have such a soft spot for childrens books and the beauty they hold within their covers. You’ve definitely come up trumps with these gems!
I was JUST thinking I need to find a copy of the Biggest Bear for my kids. I LOVED that book when I was young. I can still see the page with the mess he made in the kitchen, the dripping syrup! What a score!
I had The Secret Three! Isn’t there a part where there is a secret code and the only way to read it was to put it up to the mirror? I loved that! Have fun – I’m jealous!

Phoebe looks as happy as I was to get books as a child–in heaven! My Grandma Tessie gave me so many great books… I’ll have to search out some of them for a fun post. (PS: The Secret Three is such a great book!)
what’s the story here? are these well loved older books saved in the family? very cute.
We loooove Biggest Bear!
So lovely!
My great-Aunt gave me a collection of vintage French children’s books. They are such a treasure. Still looking for the perfect rack to display them cover-side out!

I scored a bunch from Rare finds in Wheaton, since they are closing up shop and all I got a large bag for $5. I wonder if she still has anything left?
