Still thinking of toy ideas for the shop…
I’m digging this hand drawn gal but still muddling through the printing process. I’ve got another little silly half done and almost ready to share. Might need to keep her under wraps til holiday though. We’ll see.
This is a very pretty little lady!
I love love love her!
I’m all for anything Hollie Hobbyish. Adorable.
Oh how I love this one even better than the last ones you featured!
Love her! I’d be all over giving my little girl a toy like this.
that is so cute!!! :]
Gorgeous!
very cute!! I am finally back to work after a summer of fun with the boys!!
Adorable!!! She would be a fantastic embroidery pattern =).
I am struggling with the same thing right now! I am slogging through the printing process on a cut and stuff corgi!
You drew that adorable gal up there? Wow – great work! The details are wonderful.
sosososo cute!! a real winner Hillary.
Betsy-Tacy!
(she’s cute, but it’s the books that drew my attention…)
cute : )
OMG, that is PRECIOUS!!
A Series in this style, yes please, a series!!
xoxo
Your doll is charming beyond word. I also spied your copy of Betsy-Tacy. I am sooooo jelous that you’ll get to read in to your little girl. I’d give anything to live in that book’s little world! Do you have the book Twig for her?
Did you get on Spoonflower? That would make your printing a lot easier! 😀
SHe looks like a sugar cookie!
Love it!
So very cute. Especially against those old books.
ok then typepad. what new treat do you have in store for us. I didn’t get half these comments in my inbox.
anyway..
thanks for the nice comments 🙂
yes, I did draw it. which is funny because tim asked me the same thing. I think it looks just like the one gazillion sketches of little girls in aprons I’ve done over the years. maybe it’s the profile that threw him off.
bonnie – yeah, spoonflower didn’t work out too well for me. couldn’t get the color right.
Wow! I love love love her! Won’t you please write a little book about her? I would love to read it.
I agree with everyone else!! She’s wonderful! Series? Oh, yeah…. You are brilliant…
I’m racking my brain trying to think of which Children’s illustrator that doll reminds me of. It’s one that my mom read to me all the time and I just can’t place it.
Very cute!
Ya know, I think it’s not a specific illustrator. Just that whole 70’s kids book feeling about it. I love it!
Oh, I would love to make a series or family of little stuffed people like this lady – SO sweet!!!
I really love this!!
