I did it. I said I was going to make something and then I did. The very next day. I was almost derailed by the ‘it’s in japanese’ factor but I stuck with it and ta-da. It turned out really cute! (here’s the back) I love this style. It fits in very nicely with my strong desire to dress Phoebe as Laura Ingalls Wilder everyday. The fabric is fig and plum. I love this print. I also got it in blue.
This shot below didn’t turn out so well (none of them did actuall) but I had to include it… she hopped up there and I caught her in this funny toe-gazing wardrobe re-mixer pose. hee! Do they have one of those types of sites for kids? They totally should.
That fabric is so cute, but those pictures are even cuter!
The pics are great (I am sure you had to take at least 25 to get the 3 you chose). You are after all dealing with an adorable but somewhat moving target. How is the knitting? 😉
oh, she looks fantastic! :]
Beautiful Phoebe, adorable smock!
ooh, now I HAVE to make that smock too.
I absolutely love all the Pheobe projects you have been posting lately. I am THIS CLOSE to cutting into some of my precious japanese fabrics…
I want to make this one.
It looks great and I adore the fabric you chose.
I so get the Laura Ingalls Wilder thing. She wore bonnets from Mailorder all summer and it was my favorite tv show growing up
I love it! Too cute, I wish I could wear it:)
the internet was so right when they ordered you to paint the woodpanneling..
I love it so much! The pattern is great and Phoebe looks wonderful. :):):)
Taking photos of kids is tough. My daughter is always running away or making funny faces. Love the smock – it turned out great.
I just have to “delurch” and tell you that I love your blog and I love this! super, super cute — you did such a great job! and she is quite adorable!
that is adorable! a friend is having a baby soon and I hope it’s a girl so I can make one of these!
Oh! This turned out so well! And isn’t that color wonderful with Phoebe’s coloring? Thank you for sharing your darling children with us bloggers. Phoebe is adorable in this smock…well, she is just downright adorable. Period.
hillary; she is so sweet in this outfit. I love laura ingalls wilder.

Would you mind sharing the name of the book you got this pattern from? I looked up the isbn # but couldn’t find it 🙁
Thanks!
