I’ve added the rest of my mom’s old dolls’ clothes to the vintage doll clothes pool. Since we’ve determined 80’s are vintage maybe I’ll add my old Darci doll clothes. Get ready for disco glam!

My Book
A captivating gang of 24 huggable, lovable creatures to sew—from classics like Margot, a topsy-turvy doll, and the button-jointed teddy bear Bjorn Bjornson, to irresistible Evelyn, a wool felt inchworm decked out in mod glasses and a kerchief, and Koji, a fiercely cute spiked softie monster. There’s something for everyone here—from kids to grown-ups and from beginning sewers to advanced dollmakers. Published by STC Craft, August, 2010.
LOVE that last one.
I think they are all adorable. I just love doll’s clothes! The yellow one is wonderful.
Those are so cute! Love the yellow jump-suit. I was always a bit remiss that my only daughter played with dolls for such a brief time- I played with them well into grade school. I just loved them and still do.
Incredibly darling! Don’t you just wish some of those were in cute little Phoebe’s size??
I just had to comment about Darci! My sisters and I had her and she came with a side ponytail that we thought was the height of glamour. My mom thought it was a “trashy” look and rarely let us wear one. I am now 35 and to this day my two sisters and I refer to a side ponytail as the Darci. My only complaint was that Darci was bigger and was never able to fit into Barbies clothes. Thanks for that link, I am passing it on!
Imagine that, 80’s being vintage… How old am I, really? I thought the 50’s were vintage…
you know…i could TOTALLY see mary kate or ashley olsen wearing that disco glam outfit these days!!! actually…they might could fit in it. 🙂
80s is vintage? Oh Lord have mercy.
How amazing that so many lovely dolls’ clothes were available then. The designs, the variety, just knockout.
My Mum made our dolls’ outfits and I still have the jumper I made for my teddy when I was 8 – fairisle and all!
are the 80’s vitage already? time flies.
wonderful absolutely darling clothes! Good for you. I had 2 sons and didn’t make clothes for dolls. I do have a granddaughter and I think about it. They really are cute.
